The Gufufoss (Icelandic steam waterfall) is a waterfall in eastern Iceland.
Fjarðará is the outflow from Heiðarvatn and falls 27 meters at Gufufoss. There are over ten waterfalls in the course of the river and the surrounding area. In front of Seyðisfjörður, the water is used in the Fjarðarselsvirkjun power plant.
It is south of the Seyðisfjarðarvegur which crosses the Fjarðarheiði and connects Seyðisfjörður with Egilsstaðir and the other parts of Iceland.
