The Castellar de n'Hug International Hunting Dog Competition has been held since 1962. The competition is held annually on the last Sunday of August, in the Prat del Castell area .
It is organized by the Federation of Hunting Dog Competitions of the Catalan Countries and requires the shepherd to wear the traditional clothing of each place of origin.
The winner of the competition will participate in others in Andorra, France, Holland or Switzerland. This competition is part of the Catalan Country Sled Dog Competition Championship.
