The 99 Dome Mosque (Arabic: مسجد القبة ٩٩) or better known as Asmaulhusna Mosque (Arabic: مسجد اسماعيل الحسنى) is a historic mosque located in Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. This mosque was built in 2017 and inaugurated in 2022, but currently the mosque is still in the finishing stage. Then this mosque has also become the newest icon in the province of South Sulawesi, located in the Center Point of Indonesia (CPI) area of u200bu200bTanjung Bunga. ranks of ten unique mosques in Indonesia. This mosque is also the largest mosque in Sulawesi which has a two-story building. In its construction also requires a lot of funds. Reporting from various sources, the mosque, which has many colors, spent more than 160 billion rupiah. Not only the large amount of funds, the time needed to build the 99-domed mosque is also quite a lot considering the details are relatively complicated. The architecture of this mosque was designed by Ridwan Kamil, Governor of West Java. The design concept of this mosque is classic, modern, futuristic and also has a unique shape with the theme Asmaulhusna. In collaboration with a local architect named Muhammad Mursif to create a building. Previously, the local architect also met directly with Ridwan Kamil before the mosque was finally built with a mutually agreed upon design and used 99 domes in the building, different from the usual mosques.
