The Llotja dels Mercaders in Palma was built by Guillem Sagrera between 1426 and 1447, and finished by Guillem Vilasclar, for the College of Merchants. The southern facade was part of the sea wall of the city and was reflected in the sea, from which it is separated today. It is one of the main Balearic civil Gothic buildings and one of the best in Europe.
