Kyrkö mosse is outside Ryd in Tingsryd municipality, Småland and is known for "Åke's car scrap". The place is also known as the "Car Graveyard".

Kyrkö mosse is just outside Ryd along county road 119 towards Hässleholm. The car cemetery, or scrapyard, on the bog has a long history. Åke Danielsson, who was called "Åke på myren", was born in 1914 and died on November 27, 2000; engaged in peat mining on the bog before starting the scrap car business as a sideline in 1940. The business was shut down at the end of the 1980s, and when Danielsson left the bog in 1991, the cars remained.

Journalists and writers Staffan Bengtsson and Göran Willis, who also produced the TV series K-Märkt, drew attention to Åke's scrap car. Some believe that the car wrecks should be preserved as part of Swedish 20th century history, while others point out that the cars are gradually leaking toxins into the bog and thereby creating an environmental problem. In 2003, the County Administrative Board in Kronoberg County carried out an investigation of the scrap to find out how serious the environmental problems were and made the assessment that in addition to scrap metal in the ground, there is also a moderate level of contamination from leaking petroleum products.^{[source required]}

The scrap is protected under a 49-year planning permission as a veteran crushing plant, issued in the late 1990s. ^{[source needed]}
