Yangtorp is a Buddhist qigong temple and hotel in Hörby municipality. Marcus Bongart started the construction of the temple in the 1990s with major financial support from Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Bongart founded the temple to introduce his form of the Chinese tradition called qigong in southern Sweden. But the construction of the temple dragged on and ended up in a dispute with Lyngstad over SEK 40 million, but Bongart won the dispute. During this legal process, many thefts occurred, the temple fell into disrepair, and Bongart was convicted of accounting crimes. This contributed to Yangtorp being sold in 2013 and the new owner began to complete the facility which finally opened in 2015, still with Marcus Bongart on the board.
