AstaZero is a Swedish test site for road vehicles near Borås, about 45 km east of Gothenburg. Operators are the SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden and Chalmers University of Technology. The name AstaZero derives from Active Safety Test Area (test area for active safety) and from Zero, which refers to the Swedish initiative Vision Zero, which tries to reduce the number of fatalities and serious injuries in road traffic to zero.

AstaZero was opened in 2014 and is primarily intended for research and testing of active safety systems and driver assistance systems. The site is not tied to any vehicle manufacturer and can be used by all interested companies.

Right next to AstaZero is Volvo's Hällered Proving Ground.
