Description

Pompey's Pillar (Arabic: عمود السواري) သည် အီဂျစ်နိုင်ငံ၊ အလက်ဇန္ဒြီးယားရှိ ရောမအောင်ပွဲခံကော်လံတစ်ခုအား ပေးထားသည့် အမည်ဖြစ်သည်။ အေဒီ ၂၉၈ မှ ၃၀၂ ကြား ရောမဧကရာဇ် Diocletian ကို ဂုဏ်ပြုသောအားဖြင့် တည်ထောင်ထားသည့် ဧရာမ ကောရိန္သုကော်လံသည် မူလက သံချပ်ကာဖြင့် ဧကရာဇ်မင်းမြတ်၏ ဧရာမရုပ်တုကြီးကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးခဲ့သည်။ ၎င်းသည် အလက်ဇန္ဒြီးယားရှိ Serapeum ၏ temenos ၏အရှေ့ဘက်ခြမ်း၊ Serapis ဘုရားကျောင်း၏ အပျက်အစီးများဘေးတွင် တည်ရှိသည်။ Pompey နှင့် မှားယွင်းသောအမည်နှင့် ဆက်စပ်မှုမှာ အခြေခံပေါ်တွင် ဂရိဆက်ကပ်အပ်နှံရေးကမ္ပည်းစာအား သမိုင်းဝင်မှားယွင်းစွာဖတ်ရှုခြင်းမှ အရင်းခံပါသည်။
