The Strada degli Alpini (also called Sentiero degli Alpini or in German Alpinisteig ) is one of the most famous and classic aided paths of the Alps, located in the Sesto Dolomites, in Italy, entirely in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, autonomous province of Bolzano. On the Sentinella pass, the eastern end of the Alta Via, there is the physical and administrative border with the Veneto, province of Belluno. From the hydrographic point of view, however, the entire area crossed belongs to the Drava basin, a tributary of the Danube.
