Klein-Venedig (Bamberg)
Little Venice is the name of a former fishing village in Bamberg.
It consists of a row of old residential buildings from the 17th century, which are located on the Bamberg Regnitzinsel directly on the bank of the left arm of the Regnitz, and forms the backdrop for the jousting that takes place in August at the so-called Sandkerwa (Sandkirchweih), the largest folk festival in Bamberg.
