Description

GR 38 or Wine and fish route is a long route that connects the towns of Oion (Arabar Rioxa, Araba), Bermeo, Lekeitio and Ondarroa in Bizkaia. It is 120 kilometers long and is divided into six or seven stages. There is only one road between Durango and Oio, with different branches coming out of it: one branch goes to Bermeo and another to Ziortza-Bolibar, and in the latter municipality the road divides again into branches that go to Lekeitio and Ondarroa.

The roads connect the Arabar Rioja with the coast of Bizkaia, crossing the Urkiola pass.
