The natural sub-region of the Corberes is located to the south of the massif of the same name, divided between the Fenolleda and the Rosselló, in addition to two villages of the Aude that are located on the southern slope: Tuissan and Pasiòls.

In geographical terms, this entire territory forms a single unit, which is called Corberes in Catalan. The sub-region of Roussillon is devoted mostly (more than 90% of the land) to vineyards, and has around five thousand inhabitants (almost half of a century ago). Human remains from around 400,000 years before Christ have been found there and a prehistoric museum has been set up in Talteüll.
