Angry Words, formerly known as Apalabrados and currently as Aworded, is an entertainment video game designed for phones smartphones and tablets, for the Android and iOS platforms, and also for the Facebook social network. It has around six million users worldwide, 80% of them resident in Spain, and more than seven million downloads.

The mechanics of the game are very similar to the game of Scrabble board, but Angry Words only allows 2-player, 1-on-1 games. The object of the game is to accumulate more points than the opponent at the end of the game. Points are obtained by placing, in consecutive turns, words on the board, forming a grid, so that the new words link with the words played in previous turns.

El videojoc està disponible en diversos idiomes: català, anglès, castellà, italià, francès, alemany, suec, holandès i portuguès (entre d'altres). Players can play in any language, regardless of the language they use on their device. A Catalunya, el primer idioma utilitzat és el castellà, seguit del català, el francès i l'italià.

Així mateix, els diccionaris per a cada idioma es basen en els diccionaris oberts, amb la possibilitat que l 'user suggest more words to add. In the case of the Catalan language, it is based on the Computerized dictionary of Scrabble in Catalan, by Joan Montané.

The game allows interaction between users through a chat and notification tones.
