Monte Grappa ၏ စစ်တပ်အောက်မေ့ဖွယ် သည် ပထမကမ္ဘာစစ်၏ အကြီးဆုံး အီတလီ စစ်ဘက်အရိုးအိုး ဖြစ်သည်။ ပင်လယ်ရေမျက်နှာပြင်အထက် 1,776 မီတာတွင် Treviso နှင့် Vicenza ပြည်နယ်များကြားရှိ Monte Grappa ထိပ်သီးတွင်တည်ရှိသည်။ ၁၉၁၇ ခုနှစ်တွင် Monte Grappa ခံတပ်အတွက် ဆောက်လုပ်ရေးပစ္စည်းများ ယူဆောင်လာရန် General Luigi Cadorna ၏ အမိန့်အရ စစ်တပ်မှ တည်ဆောက်ထားသော Strada Cadorna ၏ အောက်မေ့ရာလမ်းသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။
