Olla aranesa

The olla aranesa (ola aranesa, incorrectly called olha aranesa, in Occitan) is a bowl of escudella with meat from the pot typical of the Aran Valley. It is made with dried beans, potatoes, noodles, vegetables, pork, beef, chicken and chicken, ball and black sausage. It is a mountain dish that stands out for its high caloric value coming from meat and derivatives. The preparation is very similar to that of the mixed pot.

Every year in Pla de Beret Era Òlhada is held, a gastronomic fair in which several restaurants offer tastings of Aranese pot.
