The old Tetuán tunnel, also known as the La Cañía tunnel and officially as the Pombo train tunnel, is an underground passage from the end of the 19th century, originally railway, which connects the neighborhoods of Tetuán (Las Canteras group) and El Sardinero (La Cañía, current Joaquín Costa street) in Santander (Cantabria, Spain).[2]u200b It was inaugurated in 1892 and reopened in 2022.
