The Church of San Juan de Otero, now dedicated to San Bartolomé, was It is located inside the natural park of the Lobos River Canyon, actually in the non-municipal term called: Comunero de San Bartolomé, run by the municipalities of Soria: Herrera de Soria, Nafría de Ucero and Ucero in Castilla y León (Spain); It was built in the first quarter of the XIII century, when the Romanesque style gave way to the Gothic, a transition that was reflected in the architectural work. It was part of a Templar monastery of which only the chapel remains.
