The Cova del Bisbe is a cavity in the mediolittoral zone formed by fracture erosion, near Tamariu (Palafrugell). It would hardly serve as a shelter for a boat in case of a summer shower, which owes its name to the yellow spot where the imagination of sailors saw the figure of a bishop, and especially the miter he wore on his head . It is part of the municipality of Palafrugell since the recent boundary modification agreement with the municipality of Begur.
