Description

The Barranco de la Hoz is a river canyon carved out by the Gallo River at the height of the Spanish municipality of Ventosa (Guadalajara Province). It is located in the Iberian System and is part of the Alto Tajo Natural Park. It is proposed as a «Global Geosite» (Spanish Geological Site of International Relevance) by the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain for its stratigraphic interest.[1]u200b
